On the subject of Gay marriage
it always surprises me that so many people want to tend to other peoples business, whether it concerns them or not.I could care less who marries who, as long as it doesnt concern me.Busy bodies of the world will aleays be with us.

2. Totally agree....
...I could not care less about who marries who and I am totally blown away that there are so many who made a big deal out of preventing some people from getting married.

I keep asking myself, why?

What is the deal with this total religious opposition to two people of the same sex getting married?

3. Isn't it ironic
that those who blather on about less government want to put the government into the bedrooms of Americans they hate and they want to use the constitution as a weapon. Conservative values are a cancer on the body politic of America.

4. It's a power thing
When you control someone else, you have power. Republicans mistake power for love, and crave it. Underneath the need to control is an insecurity. A person who feels out of control of their life craves power over others. It subjugates the others, makes them less in the controller's mind. It makes up for Daddy being too rough, and Mommy not hugging them enough. They are the same people who think the phrase "tough love" makes sense. It's even worse when that person has been successful at life, because they see those who are less fortunate and know they have done nothing to deserve their comfort. So they trick themselves into feeling superior--they live a moral life, or come from a prefered race, or worship the right gods, so they really did do something to deserve their luck. Looking down on others, controlling others, is their way to further proove their own dominance, and thus their own worth.

It's all about control, and that's all about insecurity. IMHO.

5. If you're against it, just don't do it. How much easier could it be? N?T
