Because of the malaria vaccine,it's more important than ever that civilians donate. I donate platelets at Walter Reed.
I've never heard of either of them doing so. Eleanor Roosevelt was a regular blood donor in WWII and was crushed when she turned 60 in '44 they wouldn't take it any more.

documented marijuana and cocaine use and even selling drugs, and DUIs, I think there would be too much suspicion that they also did IV drugs like heroin or also shot speed as well as taking it other ways for them to donate blood.
