1. What do you expect? If their 'subscription drive' graphics are to be trusted,
they only rake in about $200,000 a year from their gullible members. Can't run a quality text-only threaded discussion board on that chicken-scratch!

8. Jim Robinson's Big Scam
It makes no sense why that need that sort of money to operate. The mods do it for free, there are no graphics, and server space itself is pretty cheap anymore.

My guess is the extra $$$ is just enough to keep Robinson and his son supplied with rent money and oxycotin...

16. Yep, that dude is making bank. Fleecing freepers for fun and profit!
It would be a pretty attractive side business, except for the company you'd have to keep. But, I guess freepers aren't bothered by having to hang out with other freepers...

4. I'm sure they are having trouble moderating.
About half the posts there lately seem to be advocating violent revolution or worse. I was wondering this weekend if the government had shut them down.

6. They seemed to be back in operation late Saturday night
and yesterday....but no doubt they'll blame Obama and his supporters for trying to "silence true patriots."

9. It was up at least some yesterday.
I was surprised there wasn't any note about the problem. My guess is they screwed something up. The site was acting funky even before the election. In typical Republican fashion, they don't want to admit their mistakes so they just aren't saying anything. They'll probably ultimately blame DU hackers and beg for more money.

12. Curious....
If enough Obama supporters stick sharpened hatpins into a reasonable facsimile of the Freeper site, can we really cause it to shut itself down on a regular basis?

Just wondering....

5. Seems to be down from what I can tell.
I'd like to think that it's because Jimbo and his mods have to shut it down in order for their scrubbing to keep up with the number of "posts of interest to FBI/Secret Service".

Most likely though, the hamster generating their power went on a lunch break.

13. Oh pooh!
I'm not sure they have enough brain cells needed to qualify for a lobotomy in the first place...

14. Maybe it WAS raptured but
God got tired of the whining stupidity and sent it back.

Anything is possible...
