How do you think LBJ would handle Lieberman if he were Majority Leader today?

OK. Senate/LBJ buffs what do you think and why?

Would he strip him of his chairmanship or keep him in place based on some Machiavellian design to use him to advance his agenda?

I tend to believe he would make an example of him. He'd give his nice office to the most pro-Obama freshman Senator, strip him of his chairmanship, cut his staff.
