Dude, it's time to pick a hair color. Have you seen yourself on the teevee machine? You can have it brown or white, but look at yourself, man! You. Cannot. Have. Both. (As long as I'm offering petty, unimportant, unsolicited advice, you should just stick with the white. Really.)

Really, really, Howard. It's distracting. You're obviously smart and well spoken, and well informed, and you have a good rapport with Keith, but I feel like I can never quite devote 100% of my attention to what you are saying.

4. I was relieved when he started allowing the temples to go white, as opposed to the solid maroon

hair cap he was wearing. It was always really dark at the beginning of the month when
he apparently had it dyed, and it would ease up towards the end of the month into a lighter shade of magenta.
Started looking really ridiculous.

Then he started letting it go white just a bit at the temples, going for the "dignified older gentleman" look, but the white part keeps
growing and getting longer and...

Now I can't tell what the hell it's supposed to be. It just looks plain odd.

So I'm completely with you, Lucy Goosey. Pick a color, Howard - any color. We really do not care!

7. the way to do this

Is to have them streak the hair, very subtly--not enough to actually even see the streaks, but enough to give it an overall lightened effect. Literally, one strand is lightened at a time.

Then after it grows out, he should just let the hair color fade to gray, and voila, an all gray head.
