Nov. 11th
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

:patriot:

Thanks to all veterans, patriots, sons and daughters of liberty, and liberals.

Here is the uncle I was named after. He died in a fire a couple weeks before I was born.

Lived through the march across Europe and a stint in Korea and died in a fucking house fire...Go figure...don't

smoke in bed!! - I live near where he's buried...I'll go and say howdy tomorrow.

This graveyard is in the same place I was born - at Fort Worden, Washington. They filmed 'An

Officer and a Gentleman' here. Almost famous.

I have a bunch of male relatives mouldering in military cemeteries all over the place it seems....

I can't figure out whether we're all patriotic or just really easily led.

4. That eloquently speaks for all of them. From the American Revolution
to today. It is so sad that we cannot live together in peace.
