Even the unborn danced the night Barack Obama won the election!
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 11:40 PM by Tight_rope
I'm currently 7 months pregnant...I've had a very stressful pregnancy...and I was in great dispair as to the future of my unborn child. But the night that Obama won brought great hope for my child's future. As many pregnant women might tell you, that your baby has it's times during the day when it's most active. Mine is usually active during the early evening and ends it's non-stop movement by 10pm. However, on the night Obama won the election my baby danced till 1:00am. Some might say that it was just being over attractive because of my great happiness that Obama had won. On the the contrary, I was very calm when he won and was very tired and sleepy by 12am. But my baby danced well into the next day. And woke up at 4:00am and danced till 7:00am. To some my little story might seem silly and they are entitled to their opinions. My due date is 1/23/09, and I pray everyday that he/she does not come before Obama is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States.

2. Oh, that is so sweet...
Your baby knows! She knows she has a bright future now. :)

Interesting that your due date is so close to inauguration day. That's pretty special.

Are you saving newspaper clippings for your baby, to show everything that transpired while
you were pregnant?

I have to girls myself--and I was so concerned about their futures, and what kind of a world
they would grow up in. I must say, the future has looked a lot brighter since Nov. 2.

I hope your last trimester is smoother than the rest of your pregnancy.

Keep on dancing, I say!
