18. Meteorogically speaking, it's not particularly weird
Cold Canadian air clashing with warm air is bound to result in some storms.

I remember flying into a December storm one year going from Memphis to Arkansas-- 60+ degrees surface temperature on the Memphis side, 20 degrees surface temperature a few miles into the Arkansas side. Heckuva storm-- thunder, lightning, high winds, rain, sleet, hail, snow, you name it, it had just about everything.

8. I was just trying to decide whether tonight would be cool enough
to leave my windows open and turn off the AC... It is not one America. :)

Hope you're safe. I read a couple more of your updates, and it sounds nasty.

14. Something similar happened in Nebraska, in January 2008
We were at a hotel, when it rained, hailed, AND snowed...all within a 15-minute timeframe.

Nah, there's no climate change going on! :sarcasm:

15. I can't imagine anyone not being.
I mean, some people may have a greater proximity tolerance than others, but the darned things scare everyone.

Are you in a tornado watch now?

19. They really have weather alarms?
I thought those were just in movies. What is it, like a speaker in the middle of town, or does it broadcast over the radio, or what?
