A Clean Way To Dispose Of Liberman
President Obama should offer him the Department of Homeland Security. Let him lead it. That way instead of having power in the Senate he will become an employee of the President, able to be fired at the drop of a hat. Let Obama and Reed get him in a room and read him the riot act; he can switch Partys now and be stripped of all Committee assignments (the kiss of political death) or he can resign from the Senate and then accept the job to head DHS, he will then play like a good boy or be out on the street in a Chicago heartbeat.

1. I'd rather just strip him of his chairmanship and leave him in the caucus. nt

3. I wonder if Joe would take the job as Ambassador Israel?
That seems to be where his heart lies.

9. why don't we just tar and feather him and be done with it?

Ok,ok, that would hurt.... Can't we at least spray him down with warm (not hot) corn syrup and feather him, then send him running nekkid through the papparazi-filled streets?

10. Hey, not bad.
Actually, this is the kind of move that I wouldn't put past Obama. Simple, elegant, and effective.
