Obama Wants Lieberman To Remain In Democratic Caucus
SO is this a prelude to what we can expect regarding Bush and Cheney pardons?

1. That's fine, but Obama was mute on whether Lieberman can keep his committee chair
Lieberman needs to be removed from the chair of Homeland Security committee. He can stay in the Dem caucus. The GOP have nothing to offer him, so call his bluff if he says he'll caucus with the GOP.

2. I would say Obama said No.
He would not be removed, but unapproved.

4. Pardons for what?
Nothing is going to happen to Bush and Cheney.

Let's get on with our lives.

5. Agree about the Chairmanship - he at least needs to lose that
I'm still concerned we are going to hear some BS about 'Healing' the country.

8. LBJ was a superb political pro.
He made several choices like Obama is making with Emanuel and Lieberman,

When questioned about it, he would say :
" Better to have them in the tent pissing out,
than outside the tent pissing in".

( I recommend Robert Caro's epic biography of Johnson)
