5. It's sickeningly sweet, and cringe-worthy, but I found a lot there that I'd

love to have heard a few follow-ups on, like the following:

1. She and McCain have a close and warm relationship, and have had one since she met their family a year ago.

Okay, so where is he in standing up to all the supposed "lies" about what went on behind the scenes? He's left her out there to defend herself, with not one word, that I have seen, in her defense. And what is this about meeting the family a year ago? This doesn't fit what we've heard about how she was chosen and how she met Cindy in Arizona. Something stinks on this retelling.

2. She thinks that people are mean for attacking her personally and that they're jerks for saying things that aren't true.

How about all the personal attacks she made on Obama, concerning Ayers, etc., which were absolutely proven to be untrue? All that was hurt in her situation was her pride. In her lies about Obama's personal associations, she put his safety at greater risk.

And the corollary to this is that she said people in this business need thick hides. So she needs to stop freakin' whining.

3. The clothes weren't hers, she never had them, they were returned, and the things she was sorting out were just campaign stickers and hats and things.

So why did your father say that you were sorting through the clothes and subjected us to something about kids losing their underwear?

4. Why haven't your kids been in school or at least with a tutor? Does this show that you were using them as props and that you don't actually believe that education is important?

5. Was the moose chili she served Lauer a fresh batch, or was it leftovers from Greta's interview?

There are tons more, but these are just a few of the things that I think should have been followed up on. The media is having a lovefest and doing a total disservice to actual reporting. She's lying with impunity and the media are allowing her to rehabilitate herself with no pushback.

7. I also heard her say that she really thought they would win, all the way

up until election day. And why did she think that? Because she thought that when people got in the privacy of the voting booth and closed that curtain behind them, then they would see that the Republican way was correct.

So she was thinking that the Bradley effect would overshadow everything else and that the country wouldn't vote in a black man. (At least that is my biased interpretation.)

8. Well I learned something. I thought maybe some of the stories were embellished,

or gossip, but they are all exactly as we're hearing them. And this woman is exactly what we think she is, and more.

When I heard her talking about the speech that she wanted to give election night, and remarking "so what" that it was unprecedented for VP candidates to give concession speeches, I was amazed.

She is THE most selfish, self serving, egotistical, backstabbing person and I have no doubt that McCain and his campaign are firing revenge shots at her.
