Will the Republican Party become the bible belt theocracy party w/Palin as their standard-bearer? |
|
...blaming the neo-cons for Bush's failures ...with conservatives tagging along for lack of any alternative.
...just wondering out loud.

Wouldn't it be funny if it was the Republican Party that fractured and spawned a new third party?
The die-hard social conservatives (panty-sniffing dogs, the lot of them) have much more in common with the Constitution Party platform than they do with the current Republican guidelines. Sealing up the borders, culling the gays, abortion providers, and single mothers, and bringing God back into government.
If they split, I have a feeling that a great many Republicans would give sighs of relief.

Pretty soon, it'll breakup into 3 or 4 different parties and we'll never have to worry about them ever again.
