I'm ecstatic at what I'm hearing/seeing so far from the Obama camp. I'm one of those people who was devastated on 12/09/2000 and every day has been a fresh hell since 1/20/01. I have been keeping up with the shit Bush has done every day since he was handed the office. To hear that Obama plans to roll back the family planning restriction for birth control eligibility in Africa--well, that was one of the first Bush atrocities right after he was installed. To hear that Obama's people have been looking at Bush's signing statements for the past 4 months really lifts my spirits. He is my fucking dream President so far, and this only being Pres-Elect for barely a week.
