Do you remember the feeling? Please don't lose that feeling!
Last week we used our power, the power that We The People have always but often forget we have. The Powers That Be have a vested interest in having us not remember our power.

We have two months to gear up and get ready to really use our power, in ways that will dwarf the amazing thing we just did. They (TPTB) are terrified that we will actually unify and use our power, for if we do, they cannot stop us and they fear us, greatly. They will use every game and every trick to distract us and to divide us for divided we don't have much power at all.

So, I would encourage all of you (and all of me) to focus on what change we want to effect come the new year rather than letting them tell us what to be enraged by and what to do and when to do it and yadda, yadda, yadda. They will pit us against one another if they can, hell they've done a fine job of it already with prop 8 - this is their forte. Lets walk around them, let them use their sound and fury which signifies nothing and just get on with figuring out what our positive agenda is.

What are your priorities?

My most important one would be universal health care and a revamping of the health care industry. I've been a nurse for 19 years next month and I know just how broken the system is. I'm surprised it even has the illusion of working because in fact, it doesn't. I'm actually amazed that the illusion stands at all!

Another important one would be regulating corporations. I'm really hazy on what that would look like so I've been musing on that. When I get a better handle on it, I'll trot that one out in a separate posting.

2. We considered going for the inauguration
I think we won't though, we can watch it on the internet and we've got some big bills coming up.

3. great post....
I agree we need to hold on to the feeling of hope and change....
and actively work to get our pet projects overhauled...
after all, that seemed to be the point of getting this man elected...

my top priorities are health care and education reform.
