I hate to hear about it and I myself have just gotten further into debt over recent hospital bills.

You see, they say I make too much money on unemployment to qualify for local or state or even partial financial assistance :wtf:

14. It is insane when we're told how lucky we are to be Americans...

...living in the richest and most free country in the world yet even a poor country like Cuba, with a GDP that's a fraction of what the United States is thinks it's citizens deserve free health care.

But I guess since we're allowed to publicly complain about not having it without getting arrested is what make us so fortunate.

10. That happened to me too...

I know I hadn't donated, (sucks being unemployed) but sure enough I have that little "i donated" line next to my name. Do people randomly just donate for other members?? Whoever it was Thank You :hi: :hug: :loveya:

13. I used to anonymously donate when times were better

One time I even donated a heater to a fellow DU'er who was about to go through a bad winter without enough money for heating fuel so this is a great, "what comes around goes around" thing :)

11. I never give at fund drives for some reason.

I just never liked them...they remind me too much of telethons.

I do give though...all the time. I love this site.
