Chopra on Joe Scarborough: Violence and intolerance comes for fear and ignorance in fundamentalists
of all religions... It was very nicely spoken. One of the few times I was glad to have watched Joe.

1. Sounds a lot like Joe, but I doubt he realized Chopra was speaking to him.

2. The very sad thing to me is that
they have a high powered guest like Mr. Chopra, and have him for a skinny minute segment.
THEN THEY TALK OVER HIM,
even say: "hold on, I'm not finished" before they let him utter one sentence.
Joe makes a clueless buildup, interrupts the man, while Mika semperingly oohs and aahs.
We might have had two whole sentences of his to write about it it had not been for their silly banter which none of us will ever remember.
YIKES

3. My take on fundamentalists
is that they are really superficialists. They take on the basic talking lines of their faith without doing any in-depth study of the teachings of that faith, and only use it as an excuse to justify their own prejudice and hate. The similarities in this regard between right wing Muslims and right wing Christians is striking.
