I absolutely can not fathom what would make any person 'go back to the drawing board' to work their bigoted asses off to take away a right that has just been legally underpinned.

These sick motherfuckers have to be * purged * from our society.

In my view, these are sick puritanical fucks being squicked at the thought of one man sticking his penis in the only two possible places in another man's body a penis can be stuck. These same sick puritanical fucks buy all the 'lesbian sex' porn they can lay their hairy hands on.

A whole lot of this really isn't about religion. It is about sexual hangups and some people's puritanically stunted sexual immaturity.

All the other stuff, it seems to me, is rationalization and camouflage to cover up the fact that these fucks are squicked at the visual (even as they are all too often turned on by the concept).

Then it morphs into obsession.

And that, in my opinion, is a big part of why the haters are back to the drawing boards.

Sick fucks.

1. The trouble with those people is that they NEED someone to hate
They can't (openly) hate people based on race as easily anymore, so guess what? The gay population is their next target. When you're insecure about yourself, you have to have someone to put down, I guess.

Hopefully, the day will come where it's considered just as wrong to hate/discriminate against gays as it is minorities.

We have a long, long way to go as a society.

2. I say "Bring it on!" The truth is that practically nobody cares here
whether gays are getting married. They tried to make a big deal out of it on the local news but nobody was acting crazy about it. I didn't see the festivities at City Hall at 10 am but was there to get my flu shot at 11:45 and the Farmers Market was selling stuff, the street vendors were selling hot dogs and soda and people were strolling and riding bikes on the New Haven Green. Business as usual in City Hall -- no cops or signs of any kind of disruption.

Liberty and Equality, two tenets of our state Constitution on which the Kerrigan decision was based (along with the 14th amendment to the US Constitution) were in full force in the Land of Steady Habits today.
