Edited on Wed Nov-12-08 06:28 PM by malaise
M$Greedia is bringing out the hacks and Rethug talking points as if they had not been whipped to oblivion.

Mark my word Bush, Paulsen and the gang fucked up the economy to handicap the Democratic Party.
Democrats please assert your new authority.

That is all - for now.

1. And who is watching the cable news shows post election? Not many, I'd guess.
Put all the RW gas bags on the air as possible, Few people are listening and those who are disagree with them. It can only help reinforce the negative feelings the majority in the country have about Rs.

3. I fear Obama is going to get
one VERY short honeymoon from our corporate press.

If we thought the media and the Repigs came after Clinton, I think we haven't seen anything yet.

4. ... they haven't taken office yet ...
... so they have no 'authority' at this point.

Let the GOP further wreck the ship of state, then President Obama and his Adminsistration can tell us just how bad it is, and what we need to do to fix it -- reminding us plainly and often who it was that steered the country toward the iceberg.

Yeah its gonna suck to be in elective office of any kind on January 21st, but until then, its nothing more than tilting at windmills to try and stop what the sitting/lame duck Administration has on its mind.

:hi:

5. you don't get it
The repubs are talking themselves out now. Soon the holidays will be approaching and no one will care or remember what they said. And then Obama will inaugurated and the world will stop and watch and listen and its all that will be talked about for days and the repubs will have nothing new to say because they said it all now when no one gives a rats ass.

I'm totally happy with the way this is playing out. Let them fill up the dead air and let Obama bide his time and avoid taking any steps that will let the press play gotcha with him.

As usual, the Obama team knows exactly what they're doing -- giving the repubs the rope they need to hang themselves.
