"Joe the Strummer"
So I am watching the Country Music Awards. Okay, nevermind with the comments.

Kid Rock is performing and his lead Guitarist has a t-shirt that says "Joe the Strummer".

A little political comment on the "red white and blue" country music award show. I thought it was very cool little political dig.

2. it's kind of sweet and a nod to Joe Strummer as well i would think.
Kid Rock still sucks though. His national guard wargasm ad playing in theaters is gross.

4. Oh I agree
But I still have a little thing for Kid Rock.

He pulled me out of the 2000 election funk. bahwitdabahdabangdabang. I guess you would have had to have been there.

5. Joe Strummer must be spinning in his grave. What an insult to him.

edit to add: Kid Rock was the opening act at the "show us your tits, Cindy" Miss Cowchip Parade (or whatever the hell that biker rodeo is called).

6. The Clash had a sense of humor
And I think he (Joe Strummer) would have laughed at the irony of it all.

8. I'm Not Watching. Has Kenny Chesney + The Wailers Taken Stage Yet?
I saw they were performing together and ... well ...

9. I didn't know that
I don't even know how that I ended up here. A bit tired of politics, needed a bit of a change.

Well that act should be interesting.
