1. Sorry I won't be supporting Wm. Jefferson. We need to rid of crooks, even if they're our crooks.
Supporting, even tolerating, illegla actions is what sets a party up for destruction from within.

I think that's the reason Tennessee went republican so strongly in the state Senate and House. Democrats have been the majority here since the 1860's and, like all with unquestioned governing power, became corrupt form within. There are many good people in the Democratic party here, but there are enough really corrupt ones whom we've tolerated for far too long. Accepting corruption makes us non credible.

3. Not convicted but caught with bundles of hundred dollar bills in his freezer.
The evidence is quite strong....Why have the baggage to deal with. When/if he is cleared of all charges we can support his comeback. Until then he needs to step aside.

4. Well as in 2006, the voters of Greater New Orleans will decide that.

I'm pretty confident in the voters doing the right thing. :)

I voted against him in the primary, and will not vote for a crook in the general (won't vote at all).
