6. Ahhh, them crochety old farts.
Always doing stuff like that, getting everyone into shot contests, running around with lampshades on their head. They're a menace, I tells ya'!

So, just how many folks did Jimmah drink into a coma? That's the kind of stuff we DU'ers want to know.

Sheesh, my party crashers, back when we were having parties, only insulted my dear, loved, flaming gay housemate(The farm was kinda like a sitcom, without the residuals). We had some good bashes, but there always seemed to be one in every crowd. Of course, my housemate's propensity towards dressing up for these affairs in things like antique wedding dresses, tiaras and wolverine boots didn't help much.

Imagine a bunch of hippys in full tilt party mode with some huge guy that is obviously connected to law enforcement and heavily armed showing up.
Talk about a paranoia.

Apparently, Jimmy wasn't the only party crasher.

Hmmm, Billy was quite a partier in his day. You think maybe? Or perhaps Miss Lillian? :D

On edit: somehow a space got between r and b. Had to remove it.

79. Words cannot do justice
to how frackin cool that must have been. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

My favorites from the pics? SS dude trying to look comfortable, Stacy hiding her beer, suspicious White Buffalo shirt couple (that's not really Jimmy Carter, come on) and dude with the Zappa shirt meeting the 39th President of the United States of America, the honorable, humble, commendable, righteous, and unbelievably wonderful Mr. Jimmy Carter.

And of course, Ros saying 'we like beer drinkers'. You are the most fortunate party-haver in the history of a party-havin' nation, CE.

84. That's really great!
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Jimmy Carter. His was the first presidential election in my memory. I was 10 years old and so completely fascinated with him after one of my aunts worked for him in Iowa and raved about how wonderful he was. I'll never forget that election and how exciting it was for me. No matter what anyone says about his presidency I think that he is the most remarkable man to have held the office in my lifetime. He is the very essence of a gentleman, a scholar and a philanthropist and the 10 year old girl in me still feels a thrill every time I see him or hear his voice.

Thank you for posting your great pictures. I am so very, very envious.

88. That guy's a dead ringer for Jimmy Carter!!
He looks just like him. Speaking of dead ringers, there's this insanely funny video on You Tube called 'Obama Girl's Mama.' The 'Mama'
is a dead ringer for Obama Girl, give or take 30 years, but she's pretty hot and the video is a riot! I've enclosed a link:

105. Jimmy Carter is why I'm a democrat - but the reason why is pretty silly
I was only 10. I figured a guy that grows peanuts can't be bad because Peanut Butter was my favorite food.

Then he had Barbara Jordan speak as the keynote address speaker - I was hooked!

I see you have a few more party crashers in photos 8 & 9

OK, take a look at all the smaller orbs in the background in 8 and 9 --- these are some more unexpected guests!
