Sad, gruesome breaking news from Florida. Divers have found .....
.... a plastic bag in a lake. In the bag are bricks, a toy, and what 'may be' human remains.

This is the in the case of that young mother now charged with the murder of her daughter.

I really get affected by this sort of news. How incredibly sad.

Her assertions never rang true to me. I hope it is the little girl so there's at least some closure for the rest of the family.

Sorry, this has nothing to do with the OP, I was just excited to see a picture of Kate from her brother's book Cathy. I'm a huge fan.

Edit: just read the update. It's too bad they spoke to the press without confirming first.

4. OMG!
As a father, I can only say the the woman, if she did this, is seriously ill. She needs to be in a criminal psyche ward.

7. I just don't understand how someone could hurt a child
I know that's what everyone says... but still. I love my doggies like they were children and could never imagine living with myself if I caused harm-- even unintended--to one of them.

Accidents happen, but one doesn't throw remains in a lake bagged in plastic. RIP, little one, if those are the remains of a child.

I will never understand how anyone could ever hurt a child. Poor little angel.

10. Just found an update which states no human remains in the bags.
Caylee Anthony Case: Authorities say Bag Contains No Human Remains
by Jack Ryan

Bounty Hunter Leonard Padilla and his divers were claiming to have found two bags filled with toys and body parts in the 'Little Econ River' in Florida, but authorities are confirming no human remains were found.

Bounty Hunter Jose Padilla, who hired 30 to 40 divers in an effort to find the remains of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony, was thought to have possibly located Caylee's body.

Padilla, who has been a rather questionable player in the Caylee Anthony case, hired divers who "thought" they found at least two bags in Florida's Little Econ River that contained body parts and toys.
