Knights of Columbus Research Thread.
The Knights of Columbus, a Catholic "fraternal" organization were instumental in carrying out San Francico's Archbishop George Neiderauer's Prop H8 agenda. Who are the men that lead this organization in California?

Catholic Group Gives One Million Dollars to Ban Gay Marriage in California
Associated Press
August 20, 2008

SAN FRANCISCO - A Roman Catholic men's group has donated 1 million dollars to support a November ballot measure that would constitutionally ban same-sex marriage in California.

That makes the Knights of Columbus the biggest financial backer of proposition eight, which would negate the California Supreme Court decision requiring recognition of same-sex marriages.

The money comes on top of $250,000 the Catholic fraternal organization gave in January to help qualify the measure for the November election.

Robert Villalobos, who heads the California chapter, says the Knights of Columbus believes God created men and women to unite in marriage "for the procreation of children."

Neiderauer has successfully deflected attention from his own Catholic California anti-gay operation to the Mormon Church. Who are the California Catholics that were behind the protectmarriage effort?

Here is the home page of the CA Council leaders:

Robert Villalobos, state deputy
Vincent Pacis, state secretary
Ivan Reek, treasurer
Charles Clark, state advocate
Dr. Raymond Warriner, state warden
James Scroggin, Immediate PSD (?)
Fr. Charles Fuld, state chaplain

Who are these people? What can we dig up?

I'll be in and out of this thread as time permits but, it would be really good to know who these people are who were content to stay in the shadows while doing their damage.

1. Did you check that long list...
...of Republicans who have been convicted of child molestation?

That would be a good place to start.

2. There's an idea. I was going to start by researching the leaders of the CA Knights.
