He's been on local nooz about this for weeks.

He's not doing it for votes (Ours is one of those very safe districts ..... like 70% Dem). He's doing it because he's a good guy who actually cares.

Go Get 'em, Congressman Cummings! You'll always get my vote.

This whole bait and switch deal is really pissing me off. The audacity of Paulson's thievery is on my last nerve! To beg on bended knee because the reason for the request is just so dire... then to change the plan... the money/credit needs to go back to the treasury NOW!!

It is clear to me that this is a last ditch effort to tear the few remaining dollars from the hands of Americans, the last morsel of food from our mouths, the last shred of clothing from our backs... and no one is defending us. No one.

Would you consider swapping him (kind of like and Exchange Program :blush:) for our smarmy Virginia Congressman, Eric Cantor? :shrug:

5. Horrid! What's worse, he's supposedly a rising star in the GOP.

It wouldn't trouble me if it turns out to be "a long cold winter" for these, IMO, heartless right wingers.

I remember when you could hold a conversation with a republican without them bringing "God" into the mix when backed into a figurative corner.

If they wish to recover, the GOP needs to purge the right wing fundamentalists and "John Birch" right libertarians nutballs OUT of their party.
