Free market embraces Socialism
Edited on Thu Nov-13-08 07:39 PM by Jack Sprat
In some sort of surprise for everyone, Reaganomics and its' right wing adherents have always envisioned a day when the public could be forcefully taxed to maintain the lifestyles of the rich & famous. The underlying value of the certificates of stock and notes, having been lavishly spent since 1981 by those of good fortune and circumstance, is nowhere to be found. Although the Fed is busily distributing future welfare payments to Wall Street from the public trust, the recipients will remain anonymous to avoid prosecution for any past or present improprieties.

When your wingnut friends and relatives gripe and carp about world socialism in the generations ahead, remind them how they ushered it all in when their hero turned the "shining beacon on a hill" into a lazy elite who stole fortunes over their cellphones. Trickle down and phizzle out.

1. The so called free market has always embraced socialism
for the rich. Subsidies for all the big firms are the biggest welfare checks in the business.
All the favoured companies that receive government contracts with no bids - even bigger checks. Capitalism is the greatest racket on the planet.

2. "Capitalism is the greatest racket on the planet." Truer words were never spoken.
