We really should accentuate the fact that we will be seeing hard times for the next 2 years. |
|
Due to the Bush cataclysm. They are already trying to pin the hard times ahead on us, we should be up front about it and why it's happening. We can't allow them to blame it on President-elect Obama.

2. Rush is already calling it "The Obama Recession" |
|
Had him on the other day and that is what he is calling it. So I expect to hear it repeated by his dittoheads.

3. Yes - the meme is that it is Dodd's (Banking commitee chair) and Barney |
|
Franks (House financial service committee chair) fault.
The dems won the majority in congress and the senate in November 2006. These men assumed their chairs in January 2007, inheriting 12 years of republican slash and burn policies and injustice. In those 12 years the republican virtually excluded democrats from any policy making on their committees.
Now they want people to forget that the republicans had power for over 12 years and shaped and formed the current economic policy so that they can shift the blame for everything onto the current leadership.

5. I agree. Every time we discuss it, it should be linked to bush or |
|
at least the Rethuglicans. Deny it, as much as they try - they OWN it.
Eight years in the making, bush leaves the country (and the world) with one more 'accomplishment':
The Bush Economic Depression

7. People didn't blame the Great Depression on Roosevelt |
|
Well except for maybe a few idiots here and there. I don't think the population at large will believe that it's Obama's fault when they're all feeling it before he takes office, and in fact when they voted for him because of it.
