Admins. Can we please have a solid ruling on "tribute" threads in GD? |

Edited on Fri Nov-14-08 10:22 AM by shadowknows69
Two nearly identical threads were started in GD yesterday, both paying tribute to another DUer from the personal viewpoint of the author. I started one about the author of the first one to emulate his kindness toward someone else (not me BTW)and it was hijacked by a few people who decided to call the subject out on several things. Admittedly it turned into somewhat of a flame fest, but it was not locked as such and instead only moved to the lounge. The first thread and many that have been posted in GD honoring other DUers have not been moved. I would just like a solid ruling on where these threads belong and for the moderators to honor a fair system.

2. DU deserves to know a general ruling on this. |

Even if the Admins gave me a private answer, I don't have any authority to come back and broadcast it so they can rule publicly if they want or they can lock me and throw me away.
