I just want to say thank you

I don't post much, I have little control of my hands.
So I read allot more than I post, DU has been my saving grace since I started lurking here in 2004. I have laughed with you, cried with you, been angry for and at times with you!!! Because of DU, I have educated, consoled,and recommended people to come here, who are still lurkers.

My husband, who hasn't voted since 1992, has read here and he can barely read emails, (he doesn't get the computer age,lol) registered and voted for Obama. He always asks "So what does NanceGreggs, Grantcart, Hissyfit, Frenchiecat etc. think about this?" DU and all of it's town folks are some of the brightest, knowledgeable people I have ever met, your timing, content, and context are the best on the net, and I am honored to be here among st you all!!!

Somebody donated to this fund drive in my name, it made me cry, I felt apart of this beautiful place for the first time, and I thank you for that.

My daughter is typing this for me as I said before I have little control over my hands, she is 11 so if there is spelling or content mistakes go easy on her.
