This just reeks of "Hey, we can do it too!". But maybe I'm just cynical.

9. So true....
They did a segment on CNN about this months ago. They were talking to black pastors and ministers who had Bush people try and get their support for Bush during the 04 elections. These men fell for the lies and BS so they pushed for Bush in their churches. Then when asked if they have seen or heard anything from the Bush people the guy said "it's like a ghost town with tumble weed flying around."

7. "We treat our black-people real good"
During the '00 recount, there was a steady stream of republican "luminaries" lining up at microphones and one looney-toon dimbulb actually uttered those words when he was asked about the Jesse Jackson protests in Florida. The guy could not understand why so many black folks were so mad.. he was not from Florida, and I have forgotten who it was, but that phrase stopped me in my tracks..

8. Republicans like their votes, as long as they don't actually have to acknowledge knowing them
Their mantra: Vote for me, but I'm not going to do anything for you unless you are rich. See? They aren't racist except for the color green.
