How exactly do you give someone a star? Go through the donation process, and do they ask you
if you want to donate your star to someone else?

2. It's in step 2 of the donation process -
Decide how you'll make your donation, and in step 2, #2 says "click here" if you'd like to donate a star in someone else's name.

It's easy, I've done it a bunch this quarter.

4. Yes: you click on "Donate". Then it shows your own screen name and asks if you want the donation
to be applied to your screen name or someone else's. All you need to know is the exact spelling
of the person's screenname.

It's a snap, really!

unless you want to tell the person yourself.
