Yesterday I called my two Senators, Patrick Leahy and Bernie Sanders, and urged them to vote NO on the supposed secret ballot vote on keeping LIEberman as committee chair.

I even posted here on DU:

Today I went to HuffPo and read the headline:

WASHINGTON — Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman's chances of holding onto his committee chairmanship suffered a blow Friday when two key New England Democratic senators came out against him.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy and his Vermont colleague, Sen. Bernie Sanders, said Democrat-turned-independent Lieberman doesn't deserve to keep his Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs chairmanship because of his campaign attacks on President-elect Barack Obama.

11. yes, vegetable oil prices have

shot up, more than double, in the last 2 years. if you are buying, that is.

used oil is still free ! and that's what I prefer! :)

even with the high prices, I'd rather burn veggie oil from US crops than Cheney's petro.
