FDIC may bailout Sharper Image, Bennigans and Gymboree...
Edited on Sat Nov-15-08 12:00 AM by TwoSparkles
Apparently, the FDIC is now in the business of insuring GIFT CARDS.

So, rest easy. If you buy your Aunt Freida a gift card to The Yarn Barn for Christmas, and
The Yarn Barn goes bankrupt on December 26--the FDIC will insure that card.

So, continue to spend! Spend with the assurance, peace of mind and peace that the gift
cards you purchase from Applebee's and Baby Gap are backed by the United States Federal Government.

God Bless America!
