Charlize Theron to become UN peace envoy
Actress Charlize Theron has been made a messenger of peace by the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.

The South African-born actress, who won an Oscar for her role in the 2003 film Monster, will have a special focus on ending violence against women.

Theron, who is now a US citizen, is the founder of a project aimed at promoting HIV/Aids education for children and their families in South Africa.

The 33-year-old will be formally inducted in New York on Monday.

1. I love this. I love fortunate people who are willing to
get their hands dirty and give back. Good for Ms. Theron.

3. You mean like Justin Timberlake?
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Pop star Justin Timberlake's New York restaurant has cheated staff out of tips, proper pay and overtime, according to a lawsuit filed on Friday.

A busboy who worked at the restaurant for a year from June 2007 filed the suit on behalf of 50 other employees. It accuses Timberlake, two of his business partners and managers of Southern Hospitality BBQ restaurant in Manhattan of stealing tips and not paying the minimum wage or overtime.

4. NO!
How horrid is that?! Just UGH!

No, people like Jolie and Pitt, people like Clooney and others who expend the effort with their fame to draw attention to places that need it.

So what little esteem I had for Timberlake (never really thought about it actually) is gone.
