If the oil companies picked up the tab, you can say goodbye (again) to any sort of electric car. Probably anything that burns biodiesel as well.

Then they could institute the same sales plan as the razor companies use.
Sell a Cadillac for $5,000, but the gas fill neck only works at Exxon (or whoever the new owner is), and its $10 per gallon.
