DISCLAIMER: As some of you may know I am a sysop for and post what I hope are jokes on the Truthiness Encyclopedia. Everyone there tries to post satirical stuff, but as you know, satire is not so easy to write.
One of Wikiality's 10,000+ pages is one for the NRA (
http://www.wikiality.com/NRA).
It started out as a routine "make-fun-of-the-GOP-whack-jobs-who-worship-guns" (etc, etc.) kind of page, with a slight nod to Stephen Colbert. However, after hearing about two shootings in Colorado, I was reminded of Columbine. In fact, the

I decided to add a section to mock how the NRA wanted to hold their convention there, right after Columbine.
Remember the NRA's post-Columbine convention?
Prior to the massacre, few people outside the NRA and/or Littleton even knew the NRA was going to hold their convention there. But, after Columbine, word got out and people were horrified that the NRA insisted that they be able to hold their little party, despite the fact that
the whole town was in mourning.
So, starting with the December, 2007 shootings, I decided to commemorate the NRA's lack of consideration for communities, and started adding a link for every shooting that occurred in public and had multiple fatalities. I would pretend the NRA was conducting a "tour" and post a link for every shooting, saying that the city where the shooting took place was a "stop" on the NRA's "tour".
In addition to the December 2007 shootings in Colorado, I added links to a mall shooting in Omaha also in December, 2007 and the other two mall shootings from 2007 (that I could remember) one in Salt Lake City, the other in Kansas City, MO.
I continued to add links for 2008.
The year so far, there have been 11 (including the one from yesterday in Santa Clara, California) and I know I've missed some.
It started out as a way to mock the callousness that the NRA shows toward the victims of gun violence, but now, I don't know, now, it's just shocking.
