Georgia O'Keeffe - November 15, 1887 - March 6, 1986

Georgia O'Keeffe was an American artist associated with the American Southwest, where she found artistic inspiration. Her paintings synthesized abstraction and representation in paintings of flowers, rocks, shells, animal bones and landscapes, presenting crisply contoured forms replete with subtle tonal transitions of varying colors.

1. I am in awe of artists..

How they can transfer what they see and think, onto paper is something else.. I have an artistic kid..don't know where he got it , but I love to watch him draw..and to see his finished projects :)

He did a pencil drawing of the Colosseum & the Duomo that actually made the cover of his College Art Magazine a few years back ( He went to school in Florence & drew som many wonderful things)
