What Did The G-20 Summit Accomplish? by John Ydstie NPR News
<snip>
After five hours of talks in Washington Saturday, the leaders of the G-20 nations issued a 10-page joint declaration on the economic crisis. They pledged to "work together to restore global growth and achieve needed reforms in the world's financial system." President Bush called it a productive summit meeting.

Essentially nothing was accomplished as Bush and his cronies ducked responsibily and deferred any working solutions for President elect Barack Obama to take.

2. All ornament...just like GWB's last two years...
Too bad the media is more willing to ask what Obama is going to do instead of what Our Enron President did or didn't do. He's getting a huge free pass on this mess -- a mess that is going to bring greater starvation to the 3rd world, less development in countries making progress, and possibly gutting any development of our social saftey nets in the West.
