4. In all fairness ...
This cover 'covers' the presidential era, and does not include Bush's pre-presidential fiascos ...

That is, of course, another fiasco ...

3. And they cheered him, every step of the way.
These people are trying to pretend GW Bush isn't a Conservative. The whole reason they were all so enamored with him over the last eight years was because he is the most ideologically pure Conservative we've ever had in the White House, and he got everything he demanded.

It's their ideology that failed, not just GW Bush.

I didn't believe the "close enough to steal" meme but it seems I was wrong. Strong enough turnout can keep them from stealing it.

These are "traditional" conservatives who believe in isolationism, conservation of both our treasure and our land. They are also strong proponents of the Bill of Rights ala Bob Barr.

28. The Bush administration is the logical culmination....
..of Reaganism.

It isn't George Bush that is the problem.
The problem is "Conservatism".
It is time to drive a stake through the small, black heart of "Conservatism/Corporatism".

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

This is GREAT! Warms my heart. What's bad for those cheap-ass stingey, selfish, short-sighted, narrow-minded assholes is good for the rest of us.

Shit - I just keep thinking back over the last eight years ('cause we started objecting immediately with whatever scraps of information we could dig up to buttress our case) when we were all completely demonized and smeared as traitors who loved Saddam and bin Laden and hated America.

I told my husband just now - I just can't EVER get out of my mind the vision of those scars on the side of my car where somebody keyed it, or that slashed tire that my daughter discovered, the hard way, when she was a new driver and using my car all the time. Just because of my bumper stickers: "bush KNEW," "Dean for America," and "War is Not the Answer." Criminy - you would not believe the dirty, even murderous looks I'd get on the road from knuckledraggers with their big-ass widebody trucks and big-wheels tires, and their cheap made-in-China yellow ribbon magnets and American flag decals and "Freedom Isn't Free" bumper stickers.

I'm just completely steamed. And saddened. Because this isn't the first such article I've seen posted this morning that would go into the Cassandra file (also known as the "We TRIED to Warn You" file).
