Jon Tester says LIEberman the TROLL will make a presentation to the Dem Caucus |
|
about why he said the nasty things about Obama during the campaign!
What could be his defense? All those terrible bloggers who helped throw his lame ass out of the Conn. Dem Party?
I would like to be there to see if Leahy rips the neoCON LIAR LIEberman a new one.

...or at least I wish. My hopes are the caucus punts...doesn't decide today but puts off the selection of committee chairman until after the three undetermined seats are settled and the real new Senate gets to have their say.
I want to call this asshat's bluff...assure him of a lower committee...like "Bathrooms and Masturbation"...but not Homeland Security. He gets to keep his staff but not his bright shiny toy.

3. that should be nauseating |
|
He's going to tell them WHat? That arrogance alone should lose him support among folks who are well aware of the games they all play. Lieberman became a full republican in deed during the campaign. Nothing he says will change that fact.

4. I cant remember who said it on KO last nite, but the person said |
|
a real truth. The senate is one big club that the rest of us are not allowed admittance. That big club will take care of its own, despite any protestations from the rabble.

5. To me that is not really the important issue |
|
The important issue is Lieberman's judgment. He was wrong about Bush*'s "War on Terror" and attacking Iraq and Bush* entire foreign policy. Lieberman has used very poor judgment over the past several years and has used no judgment in his role as Chair of Homeland Security Committee. IMO keeping him in that position reflects on the judgment of Democrats that vote for that. I am also referring to Obama here. To keep someone in place that has demonstrated remarkably poor judgment just to show a form of non contentiousness reflects on his judgment.

7. I don't think Mr. Obama's support for Traitor Joe is just about getting along |
|
I believe he's thinking pragmatically, in the sense that there isn't a vote to waste or take for granted in, at least, his initial effort at governing and advancing his agenda through Congress. We'll, of course, see how that calculation plays out in the end.

I called Kohl's office yesterday and actually got to talk to a staff member. Told him what I thought and he said, "So you're against Lieberman." I said, "You got that right." However, I think Kohl will vote to keep Joe right where he is. Damn.

10. 10-12 of those Senators will vote to enable Joe. |
|
That's my guess.
My senators, Stabenow and Levin, could go either way.
My guess is that they will fail to censure one of their own, no matter WHAT a traitor to the party he is.
I wish it wasn't a "secret" vote.
