If Lieberman can chair one of the most important committees in such a way as to shield the Republicans from investigations and then be rewarded for it by keeping that seat, then what does it say for the rule of law as it may be applied (or not) to Bush, the torturers, the leakers, the warmongers, the thieves of our national treasure and the election fraudsters?
