Want 60 Dem Senators? Then help elect Jim Martin in Georgia.
Martin has a real chance to beat Republican scumbag Saxby Chambliss in the Dec. 2 runoff. The Republicans are lavishing money and attention on the state to help Chambliss hold on to his seat. Martin could really use your donations to help get rid of Chambliss:

If Martin wins in Georgia and Franken wins in Minnesota, that's 60, baby! Let's do it!!

2. I think it would be a warm gestrure if Joe Lieberman would go down and campaign for him.
It would certainly show that Joe has put his nasty partisan ship behind him in favor of helping Obama.

5. There have been some GREAT ads running on TV here for Jim too!
The DSCC sponsored some very good ones, and Jim Martin just put up a GREAT ONE that I saw twice tonight. There's also an ad that they talked about on tonight's news questioning Saxby's connection to a sugar refinery explosion in Savanna and his refusal to testify in the investigation. It seems the Saxby bunch is really ticked off about the ad! I can't remember who sponsored the ad, but it wasn't Matin. I say it's aobout damn time we hit the Pubs with their own tactics!!!

7. I will help Martin but why do people keep pushing the number 60?
That isn't the magic number. There are at least 5 Dino's that always vote republican. The magic number is more like 65. I still will work to get as many as possible. I have more faith in picking up a repuke vote than carry the Nelson boys.

10. We just regained a loyal, ever so loyal Democrat in the Caucus. Lieberman!!
:eyes:

May I just say that the Democrats in Congress are actively trying to get me to hate on them!?!

12. Acquiescing to Lieberman shows just how low the Dem's have sunk. I understand the Senate
Democrats, they have yet to show any spine, but mostly disappointed with Obama.

13. Again, why 60? Having 58 Dem's & 2 Indep is not near enough to override a repuke
filibuster. Can you spell Feinstein? How about the Nelson twins?

14. Sure, but 60 is the most we can get right now.
Let's shoot for 65 next time. For now, I want to see Martin and Franken in the senate.

15. As do I. I jutst don't think we should keep talking about a filibuster proof Senate.
We are a LONG way from that.

16. We can still win this race !
It's all about turnout. I doubt that all the Repubs that voted in the General will be enthused about voting in the special election. If we could get a good turnout, we could win this race, in my opinion.
