First, let me say that if it was up to me we'd throw Lieberman to the wolves.

OK, here's another perspective:

Obama has said he won't let the Auto industry fail. The Republicans appear to view this situation as an opportunity to force, through bankruptcy, the dumping of pension benefits and the restructuring of union contracts. They are not going to approve a bill before Obama takes office. They view the bankruptcy of GM, and perhaps others, as a good thing.

We're going to need Lieberman's vote.

Face it Obama did the right thing. Joe is the dead skunk in both parties now. Hell he is on his own island he smells so bad. He has lost all his power just not the title and Obama wins the game.
