Received this in my spy email account from "Stop the ACLU" |
|
"Dear Friends:
Let me say from the start that this e-mail has less to do with the ACLU and more about our future and America's.
After the disastrous results of the election two weeks ago and the situation in our world and economy, some of you have written or called me and asked for my thoughts about it all. I trust you will hear what I have to offer. You may or may not agree with it all but as a Christian and well-informed political activist, I'd like to think I have a fairly good pulse on these things. Obviously that is up for you to judge and I am quite content with that.
Fifthly, stay in touch with your Congressmen, U.S. senators, governors and state lawmakers as much as possible. If you haven't done so in the past, you absolutely must do so now. Though we will have no control to what goes on in the executive branch in Washington (barring a miracle to keep the president-elect out of office which we hope and pray for), it is vital to be in contact with our other elected officials as the traditional values and issues we care about will likely be under all out assault. But be discreet about what you say. And if you have a Republican lawmaker and/or governor in your state, that is all the more reason to stay in close contact with them. They will more likely hear what you have to say and respond accordingly than their Democratic counterparts.
Lastly, for the 20-25 of you who expressed an interest in Stop the ACLU memberships, we truly thank you for your interest but we could not put the orders together because we could not meet the minimum criteria of 125 to order a bulk package. No doubt the current economic conditions and election concerns had something to do with it all. We deeply regret this but in the end, with the election results, we're not really surprised."
First off, we all know what they are praying for, shame on you, Stop the ACLU.
Secondly, you guys couldn't get enough people for a bulk mailing?
