I know Obama is happy as hell, but Biden must be on top of the world
This man is one of the hardest working Democrats that I've had the pleasure to watch and listen to over the years. I've sat though countless confirmation hearings and floor speeches on legislation of his and of others in the party. This is the opportunity this most sincere man has been waiting for all of his life, and, it'll be a pleasure to watch him work and achieve at this level. I know we owe him a great debt of gratitude for his work in Congress. I wish him the best and look forward to great things from Vice-President Joe Biden.

1. Judging by Biden's body language, I have to agree. He seems ecstatic.

2. Yes, he definitely is. Who wouldn't be in his place?

I'm happy about Barack's VP pick overall but let's not forget Biden's IWR and Bankruptcy Bill votes as well as his letting
Clarence Thomas off the hook. I do not feel a "great debt of gratitude" for those things, quite the contrary.

5. I know he'd be more than willing to talk those things out with you
We can't always agree with these legislators, but Biden's legacy in Congress surpasses those mistakes. And, he does believe his IWR vote was a mistake, even as he defends his vote on the bankruptcy bill.

7. And he no longer has to suck up to the credit cards/bankers
Should be interesting to see if his tune changes now that he's not beholden to the industry that employs so many of his constituents and funds his sales-tax free state.
