He is charged with influencing ICE to contract with for-profit prison corporations in which he himself has millions invested, and with assaults on inmates and detainees. Alberto Gonzales is charged with blocking investigations of those assaults.

Arraignment is Friday.

In my newspaper this morning, there was an article about ICE and funding of the Sheriff's Department for immigration control. These sheriff's are arresting persons for minor traffic violations and putting them in jails to later be deported which has led to harassment and racial profiling.
