UAW President Ron Gettelfinger testified before the House yesterday

Although you might not know it because his remarks received little if any press attention. I was fortunate enough to recognize him sitting next to the corporate heads. Here is the text of his statement, also posted in the Labor forum

2. He has alot of good points, but he's a bit caustic

I've decided that on balance the bailout is a good thing, but don't thank this guy.

Thats the first time I've ever heard him speak, and I was very suprised how caustic he was in the just televised press conference. I really don't think he did alot of good for his cause there.

I dunno, maybe I'm just spoiled by listening to the smooth and goodness of Obama, that other speakers now pail in comparison.
