For those that dream of Pelosi being replaced
She just engineered the nearly unthinkable -- a hit job on the most senior Democrat in the House, Rep. John Dingell.

DOes anyone really think that she's in the slightest danger of being ousted by the Democratic Caucus?

1. It's called the "primary," people
Find a Democrat in Pelosi's district that will run against her and can generate the funding and votes to make it worth the effort. Pelosi's approval rating in her own district is deteriorating. It can't be that hard.

4. Not hard to knock off Pelosi? Step away from the bong.
She got 71.9 percent of the voter. Her closest competitor was Cindy Sheehan, and she only got 16.2 percent.

The chances of someone knocking her off in a primary can be counted on the fingers of a person with no hands.

7. Then what do you suggest?
We are still in need of a solution to the Fancy Nancy issue.

10. That was in the general election
it's not impossible that another Democrat could give her a run for the nomination. At least do well enough to scare her. But, if anyone is thinking of doing that, they better get started soon.

11. she had a primary opponent
Shirly GOlub. Shirley got 10 percent of the vote in the primary. Shirley raised around $14,000 I believe, nearly half of it from outside California. Cindy Sheehan also couldn't raise much money, and again a good portion was from outside the district. Pelosi raised over $1.2 million and over $720,000 was from in-state, if not in-district.

No one is in a position to knock her off or even particularly scare her.

8. Exactly how much has her approval rating in her district decreased?

12. 17% over the last cycle
This means she's pissing off what should be a nice, safe district.

2. I dream of her removal, probably kicking and screaming, as soon as possible.
Most must be afraid of the be-ah-ch! C'mon boys, someone has got to have a set of brass ones!

6. It doesn't matter, the PTB will make sure the "choice" is between her and a clone.
That's how the game is played, the illusion of choice with no difference in the result. Remember how we got Pelosi in the first place?

13. I wish some reporters would dig up some dirt on her forcing her to
resign the speaker position.
