Is it possible that I simply hallucinated the last eight years?

If that makes sense to you, it's quite possible that you might be tripping right now. But if you really think it over, could your mind have come up with all the terrible things that happened.

We think not.

====================

These are the words of preamble to step five :"Detoxification"
and I found them standing in Borders Book Store after leafing through the book:"The 12 step Bush Recovery Program"

http://www.amazon.com/12-Step-Bush-Recovery-Program-Lifesaving/dp/0812980360/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1227201939&sr=1-1

The first step by the way is admitting that you have a BUSH problem, and that you have ten bucks for the book.

I could not just stand there and keep laughing out loud in the middle of Borders, so I pulled out ten bucks and brought it home.
It will make a wonderful Christmas present when I'm done with it.

I re-gift.
Don't we all, these days.

2. I was straight-edge before there was straight-edge
No alcohol, drugs, tobacco, etc. But I take pretty Libertarian viewpoint on it all - if you want to put it in your body, it's your body.

But I wanted all my mental faculties to be as unhindered as possible to deal with the crap we had to deal with the last 8 years. :)

4. I don't know, but don't watch "Jacob's Ladder".
You don't want to end up questioning your existence, either.

My sister gave me "Goodnight, Bush" for my birthday. It's very funny.

5. election night i had a dream
Edited on Thu Nov-20-08 01:00 PM by Soilent Brice
that i was growing the most beautiful blue, lumpy capped mushrooms i had ever envisioned. the dream was about me and my wife trying to eat them, but every time we took a bite we just kept throwing up.

it was the greatest dream i've had in the last 8 yrs. a far cry from the usual revolution nightmares, wherein i die over and over again trying to liberate the country by repelling through the window of the oval office with a kevlar suit and mohawk, wielding a machete, while a perfect circle's "counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm..."

yeah.

edit for spelling

9. I feel like the Oracle of Delphi. What was strictly tinfoil hat, is now
empirical truth. And I find myself hiding my full passion while talking, forgetting that all my rantings have come to pass. It feels so strange to think that Reagan's crusade actually can tear down that wall of civil protection. That his hate for all things uninvestor class, really is capable of forever ruining the middleclass. And to think that what we have so far witnessed is just the preamble. The real damage is being hidden from us, using our money to purchase the smoke and mirrors. Soon, the violence of Reagan's class war will be showcased for all the world to see. Expect a lot of ribbing from Chavez.

As for drugs, they help you to see past the status quo. You too might not have seen the past eight years like pugfucs, if not for the hallucinogens. Thats why pugfucs are clueless as to why they were even rejected. And hold religiously to their God. Usury dogma. Thank God, we have likely from now on, pols that at least puffed, if not inhaled.
