Our gas just dropped to $1.54
I'm beginning to wonder if we are going to see gas drop below $1 again. Wouldn't that be something.

I just filled my tank for $15

14. The morning radio guy here
in the Twin Cities, MN, said the lowest price in the area was $1.69.9. I paid $1.80 yesterday for regular unleaded.

It makes a nice change...except I don't know whether there'll be any money coming in outside of my SS check.

7. Hard to enjoy it much, since the drop is caused by the imploding economy.
Gas is cheap, except wait -- now I'm worried about losing my job.

9. This lower gas is a huge stimulus for the economy
I know it is putting about $200+ a month back into my pockets.

I saw the figures on this but I can't remember what the numbers were - but it is very significant because it gives money directly back to the consumers.

And buy more groceries at Aldis.

Another person that I work with just got it for $1.79 today at the same station (Phillipsburg, NJ). I suspect that it will be less when I get gas on the way home tonight.

39. A fall in gas prices is good, but remember diesel is still about 90c to $1 costlier than gasoline
Edited on Fri Nov-21-08 01:43 PM by entanglement
That's still way above the historic 30c spreads. They're claiming a "global diesel shortage", but when those diesel prices fall, that will help push down the price of almost everything that is shipped by road.
