I think that since repubs dont believe in natural selection, we should use it to rule them out of existence. It might take a hundred years, but what are you really giving up? Women, swear off republicans for mating purposes. Then, maybe, in some far off time, if they are real nice, and bring universal health care with the candy, you might show them just one knee. We could have repubs licking our boots in no time.
This really isnt just a joke. Men's behavior is very driven by what attracts a woman. If being a jerk gets you entitled only to a circle jerk, then you will play nice. All this time, they thought their wallets were sexy. That's where their boorish behavior starts. Gross sense of entitlement. IF the wallet is shown not to work for mating purposes, they WILL change or perish.
Cmon, I can hardly wait for the Faux news anchors to don William Ayres dress and manner. Mothers will beg their sons not to grow up to be republicans{man with cats}! It can work.

1. I already boycott Republicans |
|
That's why I'm single. Most of the available men seem to be angry suburbanites who are essentially looking for a housekeeper with benefits.
Unfortunately, if American women boycott these assholes, they'll just go to Russia or the Philippines and marry some desperately poor woman who will pretend to be subservient and docile for as long as it takes her to get a green card.

I countered with us having most of the women. Have a nice evening.

3. Well it astounds me that repubs are saying that their only flaw was |
|
that they weren't republican enough!
They don't get. The very things on which the republicans base their mindset are wrong. Free markets without regulation,a teeny federal government that doesn't work, and a Christian only America!
It's bizarre and frankly frightening that they have learned nothing from the Republican rule through which we have just suffered.
It's time that their party give up their irrational unamerican selfish and foolish basis.

4. I'm gonna risk flame here but |
|
"their irrational unamerican selfish and foolish basis" may be interpreted as good provider, rather than some nice guy that will feed the hungry and clothe the freezing. Republicans have few competing passions to get in the way of cash and prizes for his family. Not saying this is, just that it is possible. Then, once a wife, the stockholm syndrome kicks in, and another republican trophy wife is coined.

5. I hate to say this but I know women who married Republicans because they wanted to improve |
|
their economic status. The women themselves remained Dems but they married "up." I'm talking about high paid lawyers, Wall Street investment bankers and hedge fund managers, independently wealthy men, etc. I know it's crazy. And I certainly didn't and wouldn't. But these are not awful, terrible women. They remain loyal to liberal causes, but they are definitely "sleeping with the enemy" as a liberal female buddy of mine says!

6. I live across the street from Del Mar and LaJolla and the grocery is a cornucopia of trophy wives. |
|
The standard uniform of the trophy is a jogging suit with stilleto heels. Driving a land Rover. I suspect those are the republican ones, or the vanquished dem wives that learned petty selfishness, like my sisters.

8. Well, I'm referring in part to some women I knew in Greenwich. We fundraised for Planned Parenthood |
|
there. They were staunchly prochoice and most of their husbands were as well. Many of the women had worked with the guys they married in the Wall St. companies. They were well educated professionals with advanced degrees. And they had LOTS of money, lived in huge mansions, were thin and well dressed. Several did NOT come from affluent families. They gave very generously to PP and networked on behalf of PP to bring in other affluent women. But then Greenwich had had a history of rich women who supported PP and were active on the board of directors of PP of Connecticut, driving women over the state line to get contraceptives before the Griswold case came along...

When I was dating online, I hooked up with a nice enough guy (ha!) who, when he found out my political leanings told me he was Republican. He said "Don't worry...I'll convert you in no time!"
Needless to say, he was history. After that, I started making political affiliation part of my dating vetting process.
So, I'm doing my part, but there will always be those who hold their noses and go for the green.
(Ewwww. That didn't come out right, but you know what I meant. LOL)

Gentlemen, perhaps you, too could contribute to this effort by avoiding those women who don't share your values.
As an extremely obvious and recent example; see some of the early palin threads in which some men (I have no idea if there were gay women or lesbians saying the same) posting "eh, I can't stand her politics but I do 'er." Um, how about NOT "doin' 'em" if the crap that comes out of their mouths and/or from their hearts is repulsive or a problem for you?
BTW, I don't date men who share those "values" I equate with republicans or neo-cons; at least not beyond the date during which I discover such. Note: these days I'm not dating but I'm in a committed relationship with someone who shares my values. We consciously picked each other because of those values. It required a whole lotta talkin' and debate. T'ain't easy; but 'tis do-able.
Gentlemen, you too can "vote" with your "body parts" and relationships.
Actually, this can apply to all of us regardless of which sex/gender we find attractive. If you don't like their values, cross your legs or zip up your pants and move on.
Call it a selective Lysistrata.
edit for some insane grammar

I've never been attracted personally to a repub.
What i could do to share the responsibility, is when a freeper blames the poor and minorities for the economic meltdown, I will kick him in the balls. Same result.
Along those lines, can anyone here even imagine a freeper feme? I cant, except unfortunately, my sisters.

Series-ly.
Empowering the feminine to think about being more than the egg carrier needs to begin at the market check-out magazine racks.
